francine michelle is a freelance writer/director (BFA Directing from the University of Michigan) for features and short films, documentaries, promos and music videos. She has an extensive knowledge of actor training, having taught for over a decade.
1995-1999
Selected to be part of the inaugural BFA in Directing Class at the University of Michigan. Directed plays, short film projects, and a full scale musical in a 1500 seat theatre.
2002-2013
Taught acting domestically and abroad. Classes included monologues, acting for the camera, method, scene study, acting for television and stage to screen adaptations.
2013-2019
Founded Video Baby Books, filming and editing mini-documentaries for families to capture their love stories for generations to come.
2019-
Returning to the world of narrative filmmaking with shorts and ultimately feature films.
